The Pinal County Public Health Services District, Environmental Health Division, investigates complaints related to environmental and public health nuisances. This includes complaints of illness or poor sanitation at permitted establishments, including: food establishments such as restaurants, public and semi-public swimming pools, RV Parks, hotels, public schools, children's camps, and campgrounds as well as: illegal dump sites, improper disposal or storage of garbage or animal waste, sewage being disposed of onto the ground, and vermin issues such as feral bee hives and mosquito breeding sites.
